Well, since my forum got 10.000+ posts and got a decent member base, with the main contents are kept up to date, Do you think this is enough? if not what do you suggest to have a better member base?

I think it is really personal. How do you feel with your memberbase?
If you are comfortable with what you are doing, you will keep on doing it and naturally your member and post bases will grow up.

If you want to do more then maybe trying to find contacts that can help bring voice to your project, for example in facebook tehre might be other people with their own comics and you could arrange for them a space in your forums, in exchange of her/him/thy giving voice about your own comics, so their facebook followers also venture to your community. I dunno taht was just a quick idea. I think you have exhausted mostly the promotion forums so perhaps some change by trying new venues could help.

By the way, it is really nice to see your forum is still rolling!

To get 10k posts, you have a good member base it seems like. Keep doing what ever it is you are doing and more good things should come.

It is free advertising and many are creating there own commercials and getting many views.

I am also working on other ways to help promote without costing much.

One Idea is Rotating banners on the side of the site (not sure on size yet) for
a crazy price of 5.00 bucks for 3 months.

I may offer members here that purchase for $5.00 an extra 3 months free.
(as long as they can prove they are member).

I think it depends on what aspect you're going for 🙂. If you're just aiming for a forum, then you seem to have succeeded well enough. However, if you're aiming for a forum that is viewed as professional and well-done, I think you're lacking. It could use a new background and logo - all of it looks rather childish. There are quite a few awkwardly worded sentences on your forum index and grammatical errors aplenty.

Again, if you're just going for a laid-back, casual forum... Then you may have succeeded. But if you want to attract a wide variety, I'd fix a few of those things I mentioned, and your active userbase will definitely expand.

Now, don't be upset. I was just offering my opinion 🙂 But if you want my opinion, then yes, it certainly does look childish. But if that's the atmosphere you're aiming for, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. As for the grammatical errors, I'm about to leave, but when I get home, I can compile a list of some of the more obvious ones on the index for you, if you would like.
