First Impressions & Appearance
The overall look and feel of your forum is very good. The theme is really sleek and professional looking – I commend you for that. Your logo is also good and continues on that theme. One thing I don’t like about the logo is the font you’ve chosen to use. Try going for a plainer one. Your index page is quite crowded and the side boxes don’t really add anything to the forum, although I do like the idea of the tag cloud.
I’m not a fan of images for board descriptions at all, and your images aren’t the best looking either and having some board descriptions with images and some without looks really bad in my opinion as well. I also suggest getting a favicon for your forum as it will be something for your members to remember your forum by.

Site Layout
Where do I start? Your layout isn’t very good in my opinion. First off, you’ve got a competition board which should never be at the top of your index. Then you’ve got two important boards which could easily be merged into one. The layout isn’t very professional either and lets the whole feel of your forum down.
Having boards like ‘Spammers Suck’ add absolutely nothing to your forum, let alone anything quality or worthwhile. You’ve got 3 categories at the top which all could be merged into one, tidy looking category with maybe 3 boards and it would look 10 times better than your current layout.
Finally we get to your genre specific boards, which you have a lot of. Furthermore your index is very long and you have way to many general discussion boards which take away from your forum.

Statistics and Activity
For a forum that’s been opened for over 7 months have only 1 100 posts and 650 threads shows a definite problem. And 125 members isn’t that impressive at all. Furthermore you don’t have many posts and threads in each board and your day to day activity is very low.
I suggest doing a massive posting contest with real cash prizes or something similar to get your forum going. Also, as the admin you should try to post around a lot yourself to encourage your members to do so also. Give your advertising a boost as well and consider some paid advertising options.

Staff Moderation
From what I can see you only have one staff member, yourself. For a forum the size of your forum that’s a very reasonable amount. With the current activity of your forum I wouldn’t thing you would need another staff member until your activity picks up and you feel that you can’t handle the work load anymore.
Apart from a few topics in the wrong boards the general moderation of your board seems to be quite good. I didn’t notice any ‘bad’ posts and you seem to keep the quality of posts as high as possible. Well done on this aspect.

The overall professionalism and level of spelling and grammar on your forum is very low. You have board titles all in capitals which looks really unprofessional as well.
