First Impressions & Appearance
On my first visit what attracts me the most is the background. It's a warm and light background which is definitely a good thing for the niche of your forum. The network bar at the top looks great and doesn't clash with the rest of your forum or background as it's semi transparent. The logo is nice and simple and not too fancy or large but it could be improved however as the white text used for your slogan is not easy to read as it clashes with the clouds in the background. Everything is easy to navigate through and I can say it's not over cluttered.

Site Layout
Everything seems to be well placed. The 'Review of the Day' and 'Latest Forum Topics' are placed well to the right side. I also like the idea of showing the latest blogs and announcements at the top of the forum as the announcements provide a great source of information to newer and older members. The advertisements to the right side of your forum could be integrated better, having them all in one column vertically leaves a gap of white space between them and the forum sections.
You have a decent amount of categories and forums and this is great as you haven't gone overboard. I think you cover everything needed that relates to your niche and can see you cover both the Anime and Manga discussion very well. However your forum descriptions aren't very descriptive. Most of the descriptions contain only 4 to 5 words and for newer members this could prove difficult in them finding the correct forum. I would also advise you to hide your 'Staff forum' from view of guests and registered members.

Statistics and Activity
You have 201,239 posts made by 39,008 members in 6,747 threads. Considering you have a lot of competition in Anime and Manga boards I see you have managed to gain a great number of members that join in with the discussions on the board regularly. The posts/topics are spread out very well but I have seen some sections which could do with some more posts and discussions. Your 'Anime Discussion' forum has around 914 threads and only 257 posts. The post count should be much higher than this especially when you consider the amount of threads in that section. Watch our for your 'Games Discussion' section as this has more posts than the Anime and Manga discussion sections. If your forum is to discuss those then you should be aware that having more posts in these sections would be more vital in competing with other forums in your niche.

Staff Moderation
As far as I could see on your forum, there was no staff page or any viewing of staff groups available. For guests and for registered members this will be frustrating as the only way they can contact the staff is by posting in the 'Problems & Questions' forum. You should users the chance to visibly see who the members of staff are and who they should contact if they require private support. It's hard for users to determine who is staff, you could try giving the forum staff a different color to so users can differentiate them from normal members. You do however have ranks which is not by any means the way a user should see who is and who isn't a member of staff.
As far as I could see, there are no spam posts or flaming between members, so there is not much more I could say on this matter.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism
As I previously stated, your forum sections have very little descriptions. However all are spelled correctly as far as the longer descriptions go. I see that the administrators (after searching) have great spelling and grammar, I couldn't find any faults in the posts/topics that were made by them and there was no use of 'txt' speak by them. Most of not all replies by members have decent spelling, which makes your forum more professional.
