Your Forum Review
First off, very nice theme. IT matches your forums idea and just generally looks good. I also like the emoticon thing you have as forum images. That is pretty cool and funny 😀. But your theme really does a good job with meeting up and reinforcing the zombie feel and idea. A nicely made logo too, really cool looking and I like the text.
The top nav bar under the logo seems a bit intimidating with so many links in one area. Try and spread them out, move them, or make buttons. That will help out a lot. I'd also change the bot color in the who is here list because it looks very bunched up and rather messy because the color just, uncoordinated everything.
Overall, great theme with little to work on!

I like the forum layout. It is pretty much opposite of what I usually see, with the site stuff on button and the main content on top. I think that is the best way you can have your forum, because most of your users want to jump into discussion from what I see.
I think if there is an important announcement you should put up a banner with the information because I can tell you I would not find myself scrolling down and instantly seeing the news - so that might help get word out.
Also, I love the collapsible categories. A nice touch and helps me get a forum I am not interested in out of the way - great and handy tool.

You have been open for a while now with 11,000 posts. I can't say that's good or bad because I am sure a Zombie Survival topic is not something everyone is interested in. What I can judge on is your members post count and almost all of your members have a post - many are really active. That means your members like your forum and keep coming back! That is good activity in my mind.

I like your idea of moderators. Many people think moderators are drones that just delete spam and make the forum a happier place. On your forum, they lead the community in the right direction and I really like that. They are doing an amazing job. I think each one of your moderators is excelling in their position and should be commended for such. You have a great staff team and great moderators that is all key to have a really, really great forum.

I like your forum descriptions. Well written and clean and they get straight to the point. I especially like the one "General discussion about the walking dead." That is pretty awesome.
I love your announcement posts. They really are funny and you trade out professionalism with connecting with the community and that is big. You are doing an awesome job.
