First Impressions & Appearance
When I first visited your forum my first impression was pretty good. I like the red theme, I don’t see themes like that often. I like your banner, it is simple but effective. I like those big Register and Log In buttons beside the banner. I see when you log in that changes to the User CP. I think this looks really good. Well done. I see you have 3 people as your favicon. It is difficult to tell what it is and doesn’t really show what your forum is about. I think you should change it to ‘GD’. It’s simple and it’s your forums initials. I really like those red boxes and the new replies icons. The topic icons look like they are the default, these should be changed. I suggest changing them to something red. Overall, you have done a good job with your forum.

Site Layout
You have 18 boards and over 20 sub boards. I feel this is a bit much. You should reduce this to 10 – 15 boards and maybe one or 2 sub boards at most under each. For Introductions, members mug shots and birthdays don’t have many posts. I would just create one birthdays topic and one ‘Post your picture’ topic. ‘Search Engines’ also only has one topic. I would remove any sub boards that only have one topic or less than 10 topics. I don’t think your stories and dreams is necessary. It only has 9 topics. Maybe it should be a sub board under Cyber Cafe. Just by making these small changes, you will have improved your board. Every little helps.

Most boards have not have a post today, which does not look god. All the more reason to cut down on the number of boards, as mentioned above. You have 1874 posts in 933 posts, which means you only have 2 replies per thread. Many threads don’t have any replies at all. I’m usually saying to get your staff to create more topics, but in this case you need to do the opposite. Try to make sure every topic has at least one reply. Even if’s it’s just ‘Thanks for the article’ or ‘I agree with you completely’, that’s better than nothing.

Staff Moderation
Your staff appear to be doing a good job moderating, which is always good of course. I see one admin with over 600 posts and another with only 30. You should encourage Anthony to start posting around more and joining in the discussions. It does not look good to have an admin with so few posts. Your moderator has 165 posts, which is not bad, but could be better. I see 2 admins and 1 moderator, for the size of your forum I think this is perfect. I don’t like how many staff groups you have. What is a support moderator exactly, isn’t it global moderators job to help members? I think you should get rid of TV fans and Movie Buffs as well. You want to avoid having too many special ranks.
