I am on my mobile so I can't see your forum on all its glory but it is looking nice. The new-no new icons displayed on the mobile version theme seems to be a default, so while it is not something urgent it might be worth it to tweak the mobile version to suit better the board style. If by any chance the icons are the same in the standard version, then I would urge you to replace them with others that match better your sport niche.

I think she is referring to new posts no new posts graphics when looking at it through a mobile device. When on a PC, they look wonderful and fit the theme but on the mobile version, they are simply folders and appear to look default as most themes by default use folders from my experience. That's probably what she meant by "tweak the mobile version".
It is as Bluezone777 says. The mobile version showed me simple folder icons which most likely doesn't match the new icons you have for the desktop version. I know certain forums offer alternative mobile skins and it might be the case that is why I am seeing a version that's different from the one you gad been working on. I would take a screenshot but your website appears to me unavailable at the time. :/

Yes, my suggestion was that if you had a way to tweak the mobile version it could help the first impression, but I am not sure if you are even able to do so with proBoards so don't worry about it.
Now that I had a chance to login from home I can see your normal layout and without a doubt the new-no new icons are done especially for your community.

When I load up the forum on a desktop, the first thing that sticks out to me is the rather plain but decent theme you have chosen for the board. It's nothing fancy but it is easy on the eyes and looks well made including a decent looking banner as well. I noticed the scrolling news bar which works well and is just the right speed to easily read it without having to wait long for the next row of text to come. The layout is rather small which I like for a board of your size and age as far too often people start out with huge boards layout wise and you didn't do that which is a good thing. I am impressed as to how many members and posts you have for a board that is so young. Things look like they are off to a good start.

I find that the layout of your forum is short and easy to get myself around. In fact, I can fit the entire thing in my screen without any need to scroll to see every forum you have which makes checking to see where new posts are easy and quick to find. I noticed the excessive use of the word "here" in every forum description. It's not a big deal but I would take the time to rewrite the forum descriptions so they aren't so bland. You can take a look at FP for an idea of what I am talking about as you find the descriptions here aren't repetitious in how they are written. I also noticed an error in your forum description for the announcements and feedback forum. The word "concerned" should be "concerns". I also think announcements and feedback should be in their own forums because announcements are important and would want the sight of a new thread in announcements to mean there is something important that I as a member would want to know about. Having feedback in there makes that harder as a member might overlook an important announcement because of all the feedback threads that are being discussed.

I already brought up my thoughts on having announcements and feedback combined together not being a good idea. I also noticed nowhere on the main page does it say what SWC means. In my opinion, I think it should say what that means somewhere to give the initials SWC meaning. The only place you can find that currently is in the URL(the one you used originally before it went down). I think the full name of the board should at least go into the banner so when you use SWC somewhere on the board that it is known what you are talking about especially to guests and new members who may not be quite familiar with what SWC stands for. I made a mention of how descriptions were bland, short and repetitive which I really think needs looking into. The description by default is already understood to be a direction as to what someone should do in the forum so it doesn't need to be written like an order. Here's an example of one I just wrote to get you an idea of what a better forum description might sound like for your general chat forum on your board.
Looking to take a break from all the sports discussion? Then come on in, pull up a chair and have a chat about anything else that's not about sports.
I also noticed the text for the menu is a little hard to read as it is black on grey for the options you didn't choose. I think the text being white will make that easier to read.

Sports forums aren't that terribly original nor is anything being done here all that original but it has clearly been shown from what I saw that your community you have so far is pleased with your board based on activity level and age of the forum. The layout is simple and while not original clearly works in making everything easily found and organized so you can find what you want rather easily.

You currently have 195 threads and 1485 posts in a forum that has been online for 9 days as I write this review. I have to admit you are off to a fine start for a forum so young as yours is however I did notice some forums on there are lacking in new topics and posts such as the combat sports forum. I suggest posting more topics into that forum to encourage discussion and activity within forums on the board that are lagging behind in discussions as new members will often not post many new topics on their own. I also noticed a SWC Wrestling forum on the board without any topics at all. I highly suggest putting topics into that forum or simply hiding it from guest view until you are ready to do so. Forums without posts make a board look bad to a guest and should be avoided.
