Appearance
When I see your site, I really don't know what to think. To start off, the logo. The logo seems decent to me, however, really doesn't convey anything regarding your site. The special effect that is near the word "Fun" really isn't doing anything for it. It looks, well just there. The navigation bar looks good and matches the theme of the board well. Something that I would like to comment on is the link for the "Privacy Policy." The link for it is somewhat redundant due to the fact that the same link can be found below the content near the footer. So, removing the link at the top won't really hurt anything. The theme is kind of odd too because when I think of funny, I think of something that isn't dark. Looking at the colors that you chose, the main color of the theme is black, and black doesn't symbolize humor or laughter. Red is okay too, but again, doesn't really symbolize what you are trying to portray. The overall look of the site is decent and looks like some time has been put towards the design.
Layout
Really touching on this subject is something that for a review is imperative that it talks about anything that can be fixed. As I touched on above, the link to the "Privacy Policy" can be removed because it already has a link at the bottom. The advertisement near the top (Which I can't see due to ad-blocker) fills the entire top portion of the site, however, I see that you have the RSS feed near it, so it kind of breaks it up so it isn't all ads. The main video portion that has the 4 different videos is a cool idea of showing off certain videos. However, something that would be nice to see is a header (As you have below it) saying what those videos are. Whether they are the most watched, new videos, or what. However, I really don't know why those videos are there and not others. The titles to the right are a nice add-on because it allows me to watch videos that I may be interested in depending on their ranking, most viewed, newly added etc. The tag cloud is nice too because I am assuming that it is coded to show the most used tags, thus meaning most popular. Something that I would like to point out is the "Views" module of the sidebar. I take it that those are the most viewed videos, so maybe changing the title to "Most Viewed" might help more. Another thing that I would like to add is the spelling on the Navigation bar of "Videos" is spelled incorrectly. Other than that, I like the layout.
First Impressions and Interest
The first thing that grabs my attention is the video chooser that you have located dead in my line of vision. Which I really do like, this would be a great place to put high ranking videos there. The theme does kind of put me off because of the areas that I touched on earlier above. I do like the slider that you have for the videos, however, I think it would be better if maybe they cycled through and fade in and out. Other than that, nothing much to comment here.
Content
Content wise, you have a lot of videos to keep the board person active. I like that some of the newer videos already have a good amount of views, however, maybe they could be a little higher, and I said a little. However, where you stand now is a great start! I like the variety of videos too!
