Future Fuel - Why You Need to be Using Videos for Marketing

Canva? It's super easy to use and it's a matter of being creative.
As someone who is not creative/artistic in the slightest (think stick man drawing = hours of effort and my best), someone who hasn’t the first clue on where to start with this sort of thing, what advice would you give to someone like me (other than get someone to do it for you 😂)?
Start with something like Canva to build your video. Even the free version gives you plenty of options, and that's how I started out. I eventually got sick of not being able to use the Premium content and paid for Pro. But free is still good.
It's pretty much coming up with an idea of how long you want your video? How do you want it to start? Do you want your logo to be seen first? Or maybe something that's moving because action draws attention? Then think about what other images or video components you want in your video. Search, search search, but not only that, add it to your video and then tweak it all later. I just start throwing stuff in until I can "see" it in my head of how it should be laid out. Some people do that on paper, but I do it right there on Canva.
Picking the music is also something that's important but can make or break the video. It sets the mood! That also helps pick video elements to go along with the music and you can clip the videos so they aren't as long or slow them down too.
Figure out what you want to say in the video, keep it short, pick good music, don't forget to add your logo and the URL to your page and there you go.
I think this is wheeler I just fall flat, putting the video together with something like Canva and deciding how long and the music etc is the part I could do, it’s having the logos and graphics to go with it and then I just don’t even start because I can’t do that part I’m like why bother with the rest?
Aw, but it's not too bad. You just need to see it in your head and then search on Canva to find what's in your head 😀
That can be the hard part, for sure. It's fun to play around with though!
Why do you think that videos couldn't bring traffic to sites like forums?
These days people are more interested in visual content than text based content. Platforms like Facebook had to enable videos to compete with tiktok.
Then wouldn't having videos promoting forums actually give those forums some visibility?
People do not engage with all sorts of videos, they swipe if they don't like the content. Engagement is mainly related to the content, and I don't think people are interested in checking the videos promoting forums. Forums are basically for generation x and y and video platforms mostly have Generation Z.
