I'm so mad! We've been getting a steady stream of new members lately, but very few post! And when they do post, they barely ever get over 10...
I HATE IT! IF THE PEOPLE WEREN'T GOING TO POST, WHY DID THEY JOIN?
I DO check their accounts to see if they are for some reason inactive. If they are, I activate them and send them an e-mail, but they never come back...
It happens on all forums. It can be that they are members of so many forums or they have found a better one or have forgotten about it. Also if it requires account activation or admin verification they might not post as they get ready to post and they can't and they can't be bothered to log in their emails and activate there account so they forget about it. Then the next day they just delete it (That is what i do sometimes). The thing that makes me laugh is when this forum started people could advertise with their first post and people used to sign up and not post even though they could immediately advertise with out account activation and they could get people to see their forum and maybe get some members in about 30 seconds but they didn't.
Not everyone is interested in Animal Crossing Merlin. -roll-

We have set it up on TNG so you don't have to have a registration E-Mail due to the problems that had happened while we had this activated.
Some people just get tired of the internet and are not as addicted as you are.
I've recently stopped doing the email activation at my one forum and i immediately noticed more members joining and posting. A lot of people like to join and post immediately.
Not everyone is into gaming, it doesn't work that way. Some people have seen Animal Crossing and thought it was for children. And I can understand why people would think that. Also, only people will join who like Animal Crossing. People who see it and don't know what animal crossing is might just leave the forum.
