hey everyone, i have created a website where you can host and save your images of all kind, make albums of your pics, graphics...
now i need to know the best categories and albums that i should have there, actually i dont know how to configure it all and at the moment users can not create an album so i have to create them first so users can upload their files into them.
so please name a few categories or album names that should be there

Dont' get out of control with them, A category suystem like you are talking about is like a forum. Keep it simple and short, Start with the basics, add categories and subcategories as needed.

Too many categories and not enough content is a deturent. On Fanart Central we have a rule set in stone for requests for our category system that even the category management has to follow. The rule states simply that there must be a minimum of twenty five images that will fit the new branch category already on the site submitted by various users before the category may be added. The only exception to this rule is a category with with a high growth potential, for example a new mainstream anime released and say fifteen images from multiple users in a couple weeks time might get a category.

the problem is that a user can not upload a pic unless there are a category, so i want to create atleast 10 categories first before launching the website so when anyone tries to upload anything, he should found the exact or similar category/ album name matching to the pic he/she is trying to upload.
i want to create 5 categories first and Also in the category album creation is also neccessary, so it will be 5 categories with 4-5 albums in each,
so can you name the categories first? what i am thinking is Nature and thats about it, what else?

There are so many applications, I have no clue what kind of graphics you are dealing with.

i am using coppermine gallery, you familiar with that?
actually at first i have to create category and then in that category there i have to create albums and in those albums users would be able to upload their pics.

That's not what I meant, I am referring to subject matter for the categories. I assume it's graphics based on the forum linked in your sig but....

Are we talking videogame graphics, web site graphics, MySpace graphics....What.

Or are we talking all of it, graphics in general? If so there is three of them for ya.

it can be any pictures, depends on the person who want to host there, i dont want to force limitations
