Forum Promotion has been thrown into chaos.
Earlier this morning, beloved staff member Cam was found dead in the Staff Lounge.
A cup of half-finished coffee sat beside their open laptop — still logged into the forum, with a message draft that read:
"I finally have the evidence I need… some people won’t like it."
The cause of death?
A fatal dose of poison mixed into their coffee.
The killer is still among us.
And it seems one of our own is responsible.

You — the members of Forum Promotion — are the investigators.
Your goal is simple: unmask Cam’s killer.

One of these suspects — one forum regular — is hiding a terrible secret.
🧍 The Suspects
☕ Cam (The Victim)
The staff member everyone trusted — until someone decided they knew too much. Cam was investigating manipulation of the reputation and traffic systems.
Clues left behind: a poisoned coffee cup with two sets of fingerprints, a draft PM titled “About Lord Saru’s bots…”, and an encrypted ZIP file on their profile.
🕶️ Lord Saru (The Mogul)
A charismatic promoter who ran multiple successful campaigns. Behind the scenes, though, Saru had been accused of using alt accounts to boost stats.
Cam had the proof — and Saru had everything to lose.
Is charm just a mask for something darker?
🧠 Jimmy (The Technician)
A quiet coder who once served as Cam’s right-hand tech. After a server crash, Cam blamed Jimmy — publicly.
Now Jimmy’s out for redemption… or revenge.
He knows more about deleted PMs than anyone should.
💋 Katrina (The Influencer)
Bold, confident, and successful. Her promo threads bring huge traffic — and controversy.
Cam was about to shut down one of her self-promotion chains.
She swears she “only wanted to talk.”
But sometimes talking leads to more… permanent resolutions.
🪄 Yoda (The Veteran)
An old soul and one of the forum’s wisest members. His “Wisdom Corner” subforum was removed by Cam for inactivity.
He claims no hard feelings — but his cryptic posts suggest he knows more than he’s saying.
"The poison of pride kills faster than caffeine."
🐾 Felly (The Artist)
A talented designer with a flair for drama. Felly made banners for everyone — even Cam.
Rumor says Felly was secretly in love with Cam, but jealousy and rejection can make anyone dangerous.
💍 Army Wife (The Strategist)
A respected community leader and longtime moderator. Cam was reportedly planning to replace her due to inactivity.
Calm, composed, and calculating — Army Wife knows everyone’s secrets, and isn’t afraid to use them.
🔎 How to Play
- Question the suspects. Tag them or quote their statements to press them for details in this thread only.
- Watch for clues. Every few days, the host will post new evidence in this thread.
- Build your theory. Debate with others — who had motive, means, and opportunity?
- Vote. When the time comes, you’ll cast your vote for who you believe killed Cam.
- The Reveal. The killer’s confession will be posted at the end of the event.
- Get it Right. A random winner will be selected to win the mystery prize! (to be eligible you must have asked at least 10 questions in this thread)
