Gamers Abode was started in August 2010 as a Gaming Website by myself. After the first month it gained most of the members it had today, most who have stuck loyal and together have amassed thousands of posts.
Over the months we have expanded to include every games console, general discussion, Fan-fiction, blogs, YouTube Channels, Xfire Communities, Steam Communities etc.
We also offer free email addresses to our members, using our domain: @gamers-abode.com

Gamer's Abode has got around 3100 posts now since September, which we are quite proud of. The community has expanded slightly, and we have a group of loyal posters now who have been with us for a few months now.
We are looking for more members to join our discussions, games and more!
We are looking at ways to integrate a small shoutbox on the front page. Also we are looking for affiliates, so if anyone is interested please let me know!
Theme is really poor, colors are boring.
Forum icons and banner are very low quality.
Your forum offers nothing that other gaming forums don't.
Btw, a shoutbox will kill what little activity you currently have, it's the worst thing to add to a forum.
Plenty to work on.

About the theme.. We normally get alot of praise for that, so I do not see that changing... However if the oppertunity to get a better theme arises, we shall take it.
Update: Today we are going to look at using Joomla CMS as our main homepage, with the forums integrated into this. This will allow us to have blogs, videos, email access etc. right on the front page!
Joomla and Wordpress proved to unreliable to use as a front end, therefore we decided to use phpbb3portal. However, it's lack of features have made us decide to try out another front end we have found in a few days.
