Games for Forums

In the standard review of my forum, one of the comments "Topics or games may not be so new or different." Where does one find ideas or games for forums?

Do you mean actual games like having an arcade on your forum, or something like ideas for forum games (like we have here on Forum Promotion- viewforum.php?f=14)?

If you look in the forum Cierra linked, you will find dozens of examples of common forum games. You can put your own spin on nearly every one. 🙂

My games forum has embedded flash games, classic thread games, scavenger hunts and badge prizes. It's fun. I also have a photo challenge in my photo forum themed for my board, members have to post awesome pictures of lemons lol.

Not that I dislike flash games (I assume it's similar to arcade?), but many times the games are just too weird that I prefer to play forum/thread games instead of such. And with slow internet it's usually too long to load them.
