Ok, well I want to actually start "promoting" my site, as we all do, but since my site is an arcade site, http://www.gamingallnight.com, I should and have been told to promote it on Gaming sites. So, what websites are out there that I should get at in order to influence people to use and/or go to my website?

Well to be honest, it depends what you want, more people playing games, more people on the forums or generally more people. One thing you should do is advertise on other sites, they don't have to be gaming sites. People on book sites could be gamers to etc.
I think you should basically just advertise and take up advert deals with other people as well like put a banner up on some ones site and do the same on yours. There is loads of ways, just because someone told you to advertise on gaming sites, that might not work, in all honesty I really think that's the worst idea unless your site is far better than the one your advertising on.

Out of all honesty, you do not need a forum, perhaps as the site grows and you get 100 unique visitors playing games each day you can add a forum, but it is not needed, advertising one thing is enough.
Well, the forums is semi good - 600+ posts so far which is ehh but one of the best compared to the sites I have made before. The forums is just a way to help build the community base and keep users coming back and posting and to increase revenue imo.
Also, I am not looking to post banner advertisements (don't have that kind of money yet to spend on advertising). I am looking for sites to actually be part of their forums and post with the sig and stuff as my sig is on here.
Also, I'd love to advertise on big forums that are on here - if you have a big forum feel free to post your forum with it's stats and such and asking price!
