That's a shame. If you aren't able to sell the site and would like to reconsider in the future, just send me a PM. Thanks.

I'll keep it in mind 🙂

PPF has a point. If you're wanting to sell this, and for as high of a price as you're asking, you can't really expect the new owner to keep your own links or even old content up forever if they don't want to.

Perhaps you two can work out something where you leave the 301s active for a period of time and then PPF (or who ever buys it) can remove them if they wish?

I honestly don't think you will achieve a £xxx sale price with those links remaining on the site. It's impractical for a new owner to buy a site which is promoting one of a similar nature in such a way.

They can't be removed as the content is on GeeksHut.com and we don't want duplicated content. I will reconsider my asking price when I finish work.

What do you mean the content is on Geeks Hut? Did you move your LU posts to Geeks Hut? I think you need to explain.

Hi Jamie,

Do you mean to say you removed the posts from Level Unlocked and instead placed them on Geeks Hut?

I too was worried about the idea of duplicate content, but if you've done it that way, there shouldn't be a problem, but I still would not be willing to consider an offer anywhere near the asking price should the redirects remain on the site.

I don't mean to be awkward but I just don't think you will find anyone who is willing to meet a £xxx asking price when the site itself does not actually possess the rights to the posts advertised on there.

No, the content was posted onto Geeks Hut and the original post is 301'd to the appropriate post on GH 🙂

Are all posts like that? Or only some?
Only some 🙂 The only posts that are like that are the on-topic news (not site news, gaming news) posted by myself.

Dude not too many posts above posted $120 and you said will be in touch soon... If you were offered $400, why didn't you take it?
