For SMF, look at themes by crip and dzinerstudio. They're both some of the best SMF designers. Are you going 1.1 or 2.0 right now? I've tested out 2.0 and I think it's pretty impressive, to be honest.

I'm using 2.0. I'm thinking of using this theme, but changing the black to something else. probably white
 
Honestly the theme you chose just doesn't suit I don't think, plus why don't you merge gaming with Durf World or something?

(I just remembered you owed me something for the 40 post's because I never got the domain name)

I'm redoing durf world with phpbb.

I tried sending you the domain along time ago, it said your username on godaddy was invalid. 😕
 
Good luck with it. Not a bad name, GamingGuyz. Try to have something unique on it though. Lots of gaming sites have the same stuff. Maybe a tournament?

Just put some real effort in naming your forums (boards, subcategories, etc). Also, I'm not a fan at all of the theme you picked.

The domain isn't that easy to remember.... probably because of the z.
 
I can tell you created the logo in Word, I think you need a new logo and a distinctive new design to make it look unique.
 
That is a temporary logo. Trying to find a theme that works with my version of VB.
