Appearance Lets see, I think the first thing that caught my eye was the appearance. I love the appearance of the website, it fits the site theme in my opinion. The logo is pretty sweet, it's perfectly aligned in the right area. I honestly don't think there is much that you can improve appearance wise, you could possibly add more helpful things on the side bars. Maybe you could do an affiliate area on the side bar or donation button. Whatever you choose to put on the website will only make it look even better then it already looks, as long as you don't clutter everything together.
Layout I don't think the layout could be any better, Everything is right were it should be in my opinion. I like how you use sidebars then the middle areas for content, It looks nice. Your layout is awesome, i don't think you could change much besides maybe adding a few things like i said in the appearance section of the review. I think that the "Control Panel" part on the sidebar should go on the top right side above the calendar, this would make it easier to locate and makes it look more professional. You could also make it in the background area on the very top right and have it as a pop down, just a thought.
First Impressions and Interest My first impression was that this site has a lot of potential, it already has a good amount of content and the template fits the website. I really loved how you have everything laid out the website and have everything looking nice, yet professional. Overall your website is good and has a lot of potential.
Content Content, I think that you have a good amount of content for barely starting up. I do think that you need to work on getting more users because it doesn't seem like people converse much on the content. If you have more people conversing then a lot more users will continue to join your website/blog and help you get popular. It's a good thing that you use good grammar and spelling, that's defiantly a plus because people don't like reading stuff when people can't spell or use correct grammar. Overall the content is good, you just need to get more people posting comments around.
