It depends. I think they shouldnt be around. I only get mad at them when its an "all girls site" because they fought for their rights to be able to do anything a man can, and then they try to block men out of their stuff. That part bugs me, but other than that just get rid of them.
I guess it depends. To be honest I've never seen such a forum. However if there is a forum for say, new or first time mothers then there is no reason for men to sign up anyway
I really do not see a point in restricting the other gender in joining but most of the time, if there is a forum that does so, then it usually is about a subject that will probably not appeal the other gender in the first place.
Personally i think it is wrong to say like no males can sign up and if any do they will be deleted. I think it is fair to say this forum is aim at females but if a male does join you shouldn't do anything about it.
I see it as more encouraging rather then forcing a specific gender forum.
Are you guys actually offended cause you want to join, or just generally offended because it's discrimination. Usually a all girls forum is filled with jewellery talk, boyfriends, fuzzy puppies and gossip. If you REALLY (I cannot stress this enough) want to join, you could always just join and they will assume you are a girl
I think that they are ok, I mean they can be especially helpful for mothers-to-be, or breast cancer survivors who underwent mastectomies, dealing with the side effects of a hysterectomy, episiotomies and other feminine issues.. I mean yes it is true that there'd be no way to verify gender, but in talking about those issues on the forum, what guy would want to be there anyway?
Chances are, the only guys that would be there would be there because the women in their lives are suffering, and they don't know what to do.. In that case, they'd probably admit they are guys, and ask for help rather than trying to crash it like it is a slumber party..
