For the record everyone I have made the choice to use Mybb and for good personal reasons.

As I said, Google SEO is the one mod everyone else has to have. Don't bother with reputation since MyBB natively has it. Other than that, just check out the MyBB website for other mods, since mods aren't really for everybody.

This guy also has more advanced mods, but he does it at a $5/year fee for access.

Start with as little as possible. And make it grow later but start with just 5 max categories of fourms, 3 is preferred number for the firt few days or couple of weeks.
