Not really, a site with a good reputation gets good reports, of course sometimes there are bad reports and they don't have any
real evidence, but usually "malicious" reports stand out like a sore thumb, mostly because they do not have any evidence to
support the claim.
A good site, with good administration stands out, because there are good reports, and when there is a occasional
bad report , the site admin/owner takes the time to provide the proof that they are false reports.

Hi, are forum promotion and postloop sharing database? at least email? looks like I get free points without doing anything.

but thanks anyway.

No they are not sharing any database at all. Any points earned specifically here, are only for use here. Any points you earn through Postloop, while posting on this forum, is specific for Postloop.

I like how paying customers can only set a minimum of 5 posts per day yet there are a ton of forums on the list with lower minimums. Hmm, wonder what that is all about.

Can be that they don't want spam and over power it. I mean there are people do it for money and don't care about the rest

Don't think you're following.

People that sign up and pay can only set a minimum of 5 or most posts per user per day. However, several sites on there (owned by the admins) don't follow the same rules as they have their sites set to 2 or 3 posts per day. Sends a pretty bad message IMO.

is this active or not i registered with this but don't get any free point
You need to message @Beverly regarding it. You will only get the 100 free points by communicating with her, and that you actually have a forum that you can list into their system to get the 100 free points. 🙂

Not all the forums listed there are "owned" by Postloop. FP for example used to be on 5 per day, but based on current post count, it looks like it can be adjusted downwards to limit how quickly people can drain the point balance. Granted the base minimum is 5, but I bet it can be adjusted after it is listed.

Just tried and got a "Daily Limit must be 5 or higher" error message. So if they're not owned by Postloop, are they're playing favorites to certain customers?

I'm just curious to know if PostLoop is under new management or something because I have seen some bad feedback from the quality of posts from the members at PostLoop.

Yes it is under new management and yes quality of posts has gone drastically downhill. The new management doesn't really seem to care too much about the product though.

ya don't even have Proboards or Zetaboard the 2 main software systems smh

Not sure that they are the main software systems now, but they are the best hosted solutions for those who don't like self-hosting.

Anyways I'll have to give this service a try, thanks for letting us know about it!

That is your personal opinon but in my opinon they are the best 2 free host providers

To use post loop you need to be able to access the folders of your community root in order to add the script that keeps track of the people within the service. Self-hosted services such as proboards and forumotion don't have such an option so there is nothing they could do or they would have worked around it long time ago. The demand has been there for years.

And As far as Zetaboards ???

I am sure there still a way around it.

I believe ZetaBoards is a self-hosted service. I did not explicitly mention them as I have never been an administrator on one but since they advertise it as a stress-free, no-learning-curve free forum hosting, I really doubt they have a way to alter or insert stuff in the root files and folders.

I am sure there still a way around it.
In my opinion, at this point, it would probably be making zetaboards owners to agree on some sort of cooperation with Post Loop. Which is kind of difficult as opening such an option is also potentially risking other ways of exploit by unscrupulous people, so I honestly don't see it happening.

Is this still active?

And will you be supporting XenForo 2?
As far as I can tell, it is still being used by forum owners. In regards to XenForo 2.0, you kinda need to wait for the software version to come out to see if it will officially going to work, as betas can always change how they work things. 🙂
