Getting traffic to your website with qualified leads can be as easy as 1. 2. 3, and best of all you don't even need to pay a cent where if you want to save money and you got some time to spare you can drive traffic to your particular site and get some descent results.

Q&A sites have been a goldmine for many website owners and also affiliate marketers for years,
answer a question that solves a users problem, gives you instant authority and credibility.
not only that the amount of traffic the webmasters of these Q&A sites pay for in adverts to get eyeballs on their page means you get free advertising of qualified leads for your page.

All you need to do is create an account. link your website in your profile details, also you can include your website on some pages at the end of each answer. once done sit back relax and move on to your next project.

A few sites I have seen are:

Blurt it
Yahoo Answers!
answerbag.com

Enjoy your free traffic! let me know if you guys have any other bright ways of promoting a website.

Yahoo tends to penalize you and mark you as spam. What about the other sites? Anybody have success with them?

Depends on how you're actually answering those questions, I've had a bit of traffic from them.

They will only mark you as spam if you are posting irrelevant information or to a question that is not in the websites niche that you are posting the link to.

This is another form of promotion I've never tried but I'll give it a shot and let you know if it works or not.

Never used this, but looks like an awesome idea!
I will try it for sure and see what happens 🙂

Here's 2 free traffic method that I like:

Guest Blogging.

Some bloggers solicit guest articles, in which case you can create a blog post and submit it for consideration. However, even those that don't advertise accepting guest articles may be open to the idea if you give them a reason why they should.
For example, you can:

- Trade articles with the blogger (so that they get to post an article on your blog too).

- Use the blog owner's affiliates links in your article, so that they make money when their readers buy a product.

- Offer something else attractive in trade, such as an endorsement in your newsletter.

2. Trading Blog Links

Instead of trading content, you can trade blog links with other people in your niche (AKA "blogrolling"). The first benefit is that it's visible for a long period of time, as usually these links are permanently placed on the front page of the blog.

Secondly, you can also get a search engine optimization benefit if the blog has a high Google Page Rank (and if you use your keywords as the anchor text for your link).
