Getting a Blog Big?

If your blog can provide something like a monthly premium guide/tutorial, you could get subscribers to purchase it. Of course you would have to be developed and have sufficient traffic.

Make unique, well written, and interesting articles. Then promote the blog, to those who are interested in the type of things you are writing. I will disagree with dotdavid, if you do not advertise your article, then no one will see it. So advertise with backlinks, forum siggies and etc..

Make really interesting articles that no one else has, and make them well written, because I went to your blog saw one of the articles, and it looked like a 10 year old kid wrote it.

Post something very unique and make sure your posts are very professional. Maybe like 3 paragraphs long.

The only thing I disagreed with from the start was "Don't even think about promoting it yet.". I believe promotion needs to start shortly after content is placed up. We did put on quite a good show though 😀 Lots of good, well thought out information provided.

Well my blog got big because I let the readers enjoy themselves. I'm 18 and I joke around a lot, and so I do it on my blog too. If readers learn something interesting and new in an article along with a chuckle or two, then they are 80% likely to return 🙂

Following others of the same niche helps. I gained 70 followers by following them. They saw I was the same niche and so they followed. Of course you will get those who don't follow, and in time, people will follow you at random.

Yeah I do that, but still hard to get the pure followers.
