I've been slacking off recently and really need to get my head back into regularly working out. Any advice on how I can kick myself back into gear? What do you usually do?

I'm in a similar predicament: want to start working out regularly again but I really don't have the motivation.

If you have a specific time of day every day where there is an opening then set aside that time and just do it. Like clockwork. Set an alarm on your clock or phone if you have to and force yourself to get up. Once you actually start getting into the groove again you won't feel like putting it off except for rare days.

I tend to exercise less in the colder months due to it just being too cold lol My tips that helps me: Make it fun! Don't make it a have-to. If you don't like to do a certain exercise, don't do it. If you like dancing, turn on some music & just move. While I don't exercise as much in the winter, I DO do more housework.

Yes I think the weather factor is what's caused a disappointing turn when it comes to my exercise routine. It's like I completed the half marathon and just gave up on fitness. I'm slowly getting back into it again.

Just gotta do it. Get your clothes on, head to the gym parking lot, start the video and just do it.
It’s hard but definitely worth it.

I'm a shocker when it comes to exercising, in fact, I'm not fat and yet when I get up my PC is one right away and I do not even go out for an early morning walk ;P Just the way that I am, or just flipping lazy boy.

You have a really good working thyroid probably! Most of my life my thryoid was not working well so it was hard to lose weight when metabolism was slow, no matter what I ate. My sister would go into the kitchen in the evening and eat an entirely 2nd dinner and never gained weight. I couldn't do that.

In most cases seating down all day don't mean you get fat 😛 food that I eat is not junk but healthy goods. I do take my D3 and more vitamins. I was losing hair as I was lacking in some body vitamins.

But by not exercising my muscles and bones are weak as flip
