I use an app for the grocery store I go to weekly and last night it logged me out and I didn't know it. Did you ever have an app unexpectedly log you out? Did you know the password to get back in? Our passwords aren't memorable, so I couldn't log back in and I was worried I hadn't "clipped" all the digital coupons I wanted.
Yes, I get logged out of apps randomly and it's extremely annoying! I use a password manager, so it's easy enough to get back in, but when you're trying to do things in a hurry it's just annoying, lol 😀
I generally only get logged out of apps where it's expect e.g. financial apps. However I've noticed something recently I've not encountered before. Apps, even apps that don't log me out are periodically serving me the cookie nag screen. That never used to happen in the past so I'm not sure what's changed but I find that far more aggravating than being logged out.
I get logged out of food ordering apps if I don't use them often enough. I'm awful with remembering passwords, especially now that I use unique passwords for each site I'm on, but thankfully, I have a password manager and I can just pull it up quickly. It's more of an annoyance than anything else, but at least it's an easy fix.
I get logged out of apps frequently, and it seems to always be at the most inconvenient time. I’ll be wanting to get Subway, so I’ll order my sub on the app. Pull up the Subway app, and I’m logged on. And then it’s a whole ordeal to login. Seems like I have this issue with every restaurant app. The idea of using them to save money is cool, but they make them impossible to use at times.
Usually If it logs me out it'll still remember my username and password so I can just click on it unless I happen to be in a queue at a fast food place wanting to scan my loyalty card on an app and it doesn't give me my username or password and that's when the queue is long. 😱
