Ghost quotes by AI is rather known to happen (also know has Hallucinated quotes) where quotes are incorrect or nonexistent. I haven't really noticed yet if this has happened on forums, but I can see where AI could be mistaken in some quoting with all the different types of forums out there.

Should this be a worry?

I don’t get it? As in the AI will post a quote of some type (eg someone famous) that has never actually been said?

When people ask AI for information, they're getting quotes from people who never said such a thing, or the quote is twisted. Do you think it could happen to our posts on forums when people ask for information and they get "quotes" from forums?

Yeah AI can be finicky at times, remember when AI said that rocks were edible and are a good source of iron? Lol I know that is funny, but that's a legit result that came up about a year or two ago when Google rolled out AI for their search engine. I don't know if we have to worry about this on forums though. Most people who use AI tend to post on Discord, and Reddit.

I was reading today how some lawyers were using it and they provided false info to the judge because of AI. That's interfering with our legal system, and it's pretty scary.

I would never fully trust AI to give 100% accurate results for anything data-driven.

Humans should instead, quit being lazy and continue to do that research themselves. Unpopular opinion, I know. lol.

Unfortunately we live in a time where people can be much lazier online than ever before. AI can literally make anything for us now and to me that is really sad. Right now AI is not at a good point to be a reliable source.

You just have to be in love with the old ways of doing things.

Take cycling for example. There is a BOOM in electric bicycle sales. The good part is that an e-bike gives someone who is disabled or elderly a chance to commute and exercise with more ease, effectively prolonging their life and working status. However, for fit cyclists like me, it only makes biking easier and us lazier. It damages our fitness abilities, and we'll lose them as we use e-bikes more and more.

But that comes to me whole "be in love with old ways" segment. I love riding my traditional pedal bike. I love beating my own stats by working my butt of riding harder. So, no need for an e-bike for me as long as I can keep doing what I've been doing on my traditional bike without electronic assist features.

Back to content creation and AI...

I love writing so much that I get a dopamine hit from it. Right at this moment, I'm filled with joy, happiness, and a rush of excitement because I get to write all this out.

If I had AI do this, I wouldn't get that hit.

Stick to your old ways as much as you can!

AI has been horrible with quotes in my experience. Even feeding it something with a quoted part will often result in the output being way off. I know you can reword quotes to a point, but they are often completely different sentences.
