Gladiator Tournaments

If you had a device that you could use to watch events that happened way back in time, would you use it to watch a real gladiator tournament? Just to see what a real one was like back in those days?

I often find boxing matches and MMA fights boring. When I was a little boy in the 90s I found some WCW wrestling matches to be incredibly entertaining. Wrestling matches with Rick Flare were just really bland. I wonder if we would find the same thing with gladiator matches to be boring based on who was fighting. I don't even find cock fighting to be fun to watch. But to those people back then, when television or radio technology wasn't available to keep them entertained, I guess watching and betting on two guys to have a big theatrical sword fight clad in armor gave them something to look forward to, not to mention money if they won the bet, after a hard days work.
