What kind of glitches has your forum software made that you can't reproduce, but you know it happened?

I've only seen glitches from plugins on a few forums. The weirdest one was when I noticed a plugin caused the post time to glitch out and the text read something like "Later at X" it was odd lol.

Xenforo?
If so, I remember that the script itself had a "bug" in it at one point (since fixed) that caused that frequently and it was aggravated by some add-ons.

I've seen several when you try to use a script that is not supported by the PHP version being used also.

Some images on my XenForo forum when uploaded as attachments on posts are flipping the image 90 degrees. It's a weird issue.

When you, asana admin end up breaking things 😛

I haven't used many and on the ones that I have used I haven't experienced any glitches.

I have found a few glitches within Xenforo recently, specifically with usergroup banners not showing how they should and permissions not working correctly despite being set correctly.

Hoping this isn't just me, and others are seeing it with Xenforo 2.3.7

Most glitches are caused by third-party apps or even yourself, who made an error while messing around with the code. IPB are always good to get things fixed and resolved, but end of the day it's not always going to be perfect 😛

I downgraded my forum, because there was a few glitches with addons after I upgraded such as some icons not working.

This is a BIG issue with Xenforo since it is SO dependent upon 3rd party add-ons for some features.
There are pros and cons to being that dependent. But honestly... there are scripts that offer some features as core to their product that Xenforo forces you to do by 3rd party.
So, look to what your site needs and then fit the core script to that requirement. Or be prepared to have DEEP pockets.
