Global announcement

So usually in the quick mod drop down box i could set a topic to global. But i don't have that option.

I am running phpBB3.

Anyone know what the problem could be? I am admin and i have made sure that the permissions allow it. And i can sticky and lock and move,split and all that other stuff but i can't globally announce anything.

Hmm, then it isn't an edit gone wrong.

what MODs, if any, do you have running?

auto post redirect.

And i tried a few but they didn't work.

Could it be that you haven't removed one of those mod's properly?

Probably... I think i am going to restart because there is no activity anyways so if i start fresh maybe things will go correctly the second time around.

Your probably best to remove them properly then your problem is possibly solved.

Ensure that you haven't set any other groups permissions to set global announcements as "never", a never over writes a yes.

There is also a global announcment mod for phpbb3. Works quite fine for me.
