Site Name: Global IT Forum
Site URL: http://www.globalitforum.com
Description: This forum is aimed at IT professionals from around the globe at all levels of the profession. My sole purpose in launching this site was as a direct response to the paucity of all IT encompassing discussion groups as well as what I see are two main issues with what forums and groups do exist today: lack of moderation leading to tons of intrusive commercial messages and lack of organization around topics of interest to IT folks. This is a straight IT discussion forum with no hidden agendas, no email newsletters, no advertising of services, etc.
As with any new forum, it takes time to grow a contributing base. However, given the types of discussions I have seen so many IT folks from around the globe attempt to start, only to be thwarted by the issues mentioned above, and I feel his is a needed and worthy endeavor. To the extent you feel the same, I invite you to head over to: http://www.globalitforum.com and see if the setting and rules are something that will meet your needs for continued professional growth and expression of your expertise.
