I came across this Youtube alternative last night while browsing Discuit, which is a Reddit alternative. It reminds me of the old days of Youtube, you can customize your page just like the old days of Youtube. I wish it loaded faster, hopefully the admins can get enough money to move the site to a faster server in the future. https://glomble.com/

For me personally, I’d rather stick to YouTube itself. I am not really drawn to the layout of that site. It might not be that attractive to me because I’m looking at the mobile browser version, though.

I haven't checked the site out yet on mobile but I rarely use my phone to watch video these days. The layout is a bit primitive, but I think that's the appeal of the site lol.

I use something that I known for years that I trust

The only one I know that's really putting up a good fight and becoming increasingly popular is Rumble. I wasn't familiar with the one you're mentioning, but I just checked it out and I think Rumble is better in every way. Rumble is superior in every aspect. Besides, this platform you're talking about is more like Tumblr than YouTube.

An alternative to YouTube would really struggle to have a footing. It would be hard to attract creators enough to get close to the level of YouTube's content library. And many people are on YouTube for monetization which an alternative to YouTube might not be as able to afford.
