Hey, bud. thanx for liking our new service, they have become quite popular, and fast! I can give you some feedback on what you asked, but, can you also link me to the topic/page where it is. I'm not exactly understanding, or finding, the "rivals MOD" you mentioned.

its the menu right under the normal forum stuff that says Ladder, Create a Clan, Tournaments, Ect.

It allows for people to make a clan and join in tourneys and then post the result and it keeps track of the best clan and who has the most wins. i'm also using the medals mod which allows me to give out medals to people for doing things (such as winning a tourney) and i can choose to give them cash with the medal. its the perfect gaming set up lol (sorry for being so modest 😛 )
 
OK, I'll look into, then. I'm just now getting online, I'm almost caught up on my normal routine when first getting on, I should have this for you within the hour. 🙂

Forum Pros:

Well, since my last visit, first i notice is the new banner. MUCH better than the old one you, i think i commented that it reminded me of graffiti, lol. It really represents the forum theme much more professionally, and text, with the arrow under it is nice touch.

Forum clans are always a great way to get hardcore gamers, with online capability, more involved with the forum. Make sure once you get a strong clan started, you start submitting your forum to Clan Top Sites; and have your members vote for on your button every single day, to rise in the ranks, and get more notice from other Clans.


Forum Cons:

You're still missing the point on how important it is to have your forum related content at the top, but you have them almost at the very bottom. Take your entire "Site Information" category, and place it at the top of the forum.

I'm still noticing some spelling and grammar issues in your board description. If you would like you clan to face [#1] post here. <-- you should be "your". Be sure to proof read all your descriptions, and read them out loud carefully to yourself. Then correct the ones that don't sound right.

And, I still stromgly believe you need forum borderlines. It just looks a little messy in the gaming section, cause there's about 8 boards, and no borderlines separating them. It could work for sections with maybe 3-4 boards, but 8 is getting out of hand with no borders.


What was most liked about the website/forums:

The new banner, much better than the previous one i remember.

What was disliked most about the website/forums:

The Site Information, all the way at the bottom. Needs to be much easieer to find for guests and new members, as well as veteran members, so they an keep up with updates, and welcoming new members.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?

I'm a member, but really don't have time, myself, to get involved with all the gaming forums out there, at the moment. But i believe once you build a strong Team Clan, and get your forum to work on ranking up a top spot in the clan top site ranking, you'll have more and more gamers eager to sign up, and see what all the buzz is about.

It's no problem, you can't really blame me, though 😀 i just though the gnn in the new url, was a shorter domain name you got for gamingnewsnow 😀

And, like i said, I'll get this, may be a few hours, as i do have other things to do I put off for this. Though, Should be sooner.
 
yeah. that was 100% my fault. thanks for still going over this 🙂 and gamingnewsnow.com is being moved to gnncentral.com so that i can have both and have full access (i just bought paid hosting) and i still need to work stuff out with the new forum, but its working great so far

Forum Pros:

Ok. This forum looks 100% better then the original. I'm sorry to say that, but the old forum was very unbalanced, and disorganized with it's template. Bravo! This is how a forum should look.

Form the banner, template, and board organization ... everything sync's up well.

( I just kept this, cause it delivers the same message!)


Forum Cons:

Maybe try and customize teh forum, a little bit. I can tell it's a premade skin, but still looks amazing. The icons do match up, but like i said, because it is premade.

There's not much to critique on. But, up top, under your banner the images for ladders clans, & tournaments aren't displaying right. Need to get those corrected.

The images for the clans were not displayed correctly at the time, at least while i was on.

No problem. That's what we're here for. Some may not like my style of reviewing, cause i DO nit-pick ... but, for me, it's all in the details 😉
