"Customers can't use their paypal"

Again same words. Hate GoDaddy or GoMummy.

Paypal charges like a 50 cent minimum fee, so it's no wonder they disallow it... 🙂

With Godaddy, you either like it or HATE it. 😀

A lot of people don't like godaddy because they originally backed SOPA/PIPA. (Two bills that were set to give too much power to the wrong people to decide the fate of the internet. Use wikipedia for more info if you're curious for specifics on SOPA/PIPA.)

They stood firm at first supporting SOPA/PIPA, but then a mass exodus of customers made them change their mind. (If I recall right, they lost over 10,000 domains over this.) And even then they only changed their official stance because even more were threatening to leave.

They were in the wrong over SOPPA and PIPA. They changed their stance. Hopefully they have learned from their mistake.... 🙂

I've heard some good stories about Godaddy, so I know they aren't all bad. 😛

Why I hate Godaddy

- SOPA/PIPA. You can change your stance and still believe the old things, just look at Mitt Romney, he does it every week.

- They make it super easy for really anyone to reset your password, I was able to reset my own over the phone without any information really.

- Their recent downtime. If you're that vulnerable, there's a problem.

Hence, I have moved over to Namecheap. The only thing left on my godaddy account are old domains that will eventually expire.

All this is trick of getting customers to buy domain name, when you spend one year and would renew for then next year then the price would be higher than normal, I need to pay around $14.something to renew my .com domains on Godaddy..

Mitt Romney can adjust his stance once in a while, as he is running for president. He is a representative, and should reflect on the changing views of America. That should not be compared to GoDaddy. Godaddy just sucks.

He goes to complete polar opposites on multiple issues. Yes, he's running a campaign for president, and that IS why he is doing it. That doesn't make it right, and it just leaves us not knowing what he will actually do if elected.

Yes, it doesn't completely relate to this topic, but it was mostly a joke. You on the other hand chose to only reply to that single part of my post. You contributed more to it than I did.

Godaddy sucks, yes, and so does Romney-Ryan. 😉

I did use your whole post. 😛

You can say Romney-Ryan sucks, and it's your right. But the changing stance argument gets old, and doesn't hold up. Has Obama kept his stance? No. He hasn't done 47% of what he promised he'd do. If Romney changes stance during the campaign, it would be a better sign than those who changed after being elected... *cough* Obama.

America is made up of humans that constantly change their minds based on events that surround them. It's important for the candidates to make sure their campaigns reflect changing times. Our focus should be on what the candidates are saying in these debates. It'll show who will be able to stand up in front of congress, and who will make strong decisions while under pressure. But dismissing Romney due to his "changing stance" is an old trick, and has no relevance to the campaign's now. Perhaps, if Romney manages to change his stance between debates, it'll have serious consequences. But at this point in time, Romney looks like a good candidate... especially when you compare it to the current administration.

Employment has gotten worse. It went up after Obama took office, and it dropped recently to below where he started. That's not a good thing. It's like breaking something and fixing it. That accomplishes nothing. And employment is actually worse than what many people think. It hasn't gone down. It just means that there are more discouraged workers without jobs that aren't eligible to be counted for the unemployment rate. That doesn't mean that they're employed now.

That was slightly off topic. But my point was that Romney can't be dismissed based on what you said. And that was a bad example to compare with GoDaddy. As for what candidate you like more, that's up to you, and I'm not supporting anyone. My goal was to provide a comparison and prove that A) Romney can't be dismissed based on what you said, and B) Romney has no relevance to Godaddy.

Like I said, my Romney was a comment was a joke on the side. You just took it too far. I was not making any serious comparison between him and Godaddy.

Have a nice day.

Actually, I wasn't referring to the joke. I was referring to your second post. 🙂
