Is it just me doing something wrong or is the code (SOCCER99) for a brand new domain for only $1.17 not working?

I tried purchasing one from my new account on GoDaddy and entering the code wouldn't change the price from just over £10

I got to the payment page. Entered the code before entering my card details. Hit the code update button and it came up with an error.
Can anyone confirm that this has ended or is not working?

Can you buy a giftcard from Godaddy with Paypal and use the giftcard code to buy a cheap domain with Soccer99?

I hate giving CC numbers to subscription based services.

They are making this obly availiable using a CC because they want you to come back so paypal dosent work 🙁
