So, I know I shared this with you guys about five months ago. Thing is, a lot of things have been getting worse and worse lately with our situation involving our kids and we really just want to bring them home. The original campaign was to raise $10,000.00 USD. We talked to a lawyer on Friday that requires a $4000.00 USD retainer fee. Therefore, our campaign goal has been reduced. So long as we pay him $3000.00 up front, we will have 45 days to pay him the additional $1000.00. Then, once the retainer money is used up in our case, he will work out a payment arrangement for the rest if we end up over that fee. Either way, if you could read the campaign and donate if you can we appreciate any and all donations regardless the amount. to give you an idea of the recent things going on, two weeks ago my step-mother and father started an argument with me. Instead of staying to argue, I tried to leave. I'm not for arguing in front of my children. Never have been. I was told if I walked out the door I would not be allowed to visit my kids again. When I went to get my kids yesterday for our second visit of the month, they weren't home and I had to wait around on them to get back to pick them up. Additionally, my step-mom told my daughter that we were not coming to see her anymore (at least my daughter told me that). Then to put the icing on the cake, both of my kids started calling me by my first name. They've never heard my name when they've been around me and always referred to me as Mommy. They even call her mommy too.
Then, my father asked me today the following question: "Since you deleted and blocked everyone on Facebook, how are we suppose to get ahold of you if there is an emergency with your kids?" I mean seriously... They have a phone and my phone number. If he thinks social media is the only means of communication, then he really doesn't need to have my kids anyway. Not to mention several other incidents that have happened since they've been there: My father backing over my son with his car, both of them trash talking me around my kids and filling their heads with lies about me (people have reported this to me), and various other things. Enough is enough! It's way past time for my kids to come home and we need help to make that happen!
