Did anyone watch this? Did you agree/disagree with the winnings? I highly agreed with the award for Colin Firth.

II really couldn't care less about awards like these, and I'll tell you why:

The Social Network won best picture.
Glee won best television musical/comedy.

The only redeeming qualities are that Natalie Portman won best actress (she was incredible in Black Swan) and Toy Story 3 won best animated film (but it hardly had any competition).

Plus, it just wasn't a good year for movies or television.

The HFPA is under investigation after claims that it is being paid money and benefits to select certain awards.

Okay...isn't that obvious? The HBO shows and big money movies win EVERY YEAR!
