Good forum contests?

I need some help for a forum contest on a gaming forum, What could I do? I can't buy xbox live gold or things like that just yet, but what could I give someone for winning the contest?

I think the best prize is just cold hard cash... Other then that it has to be something that's beneficial to them on your forum, like a special rank or something similar.

Maybe special membership which has added benefits? game gift cards (like Nintendo eShop or PSN?) how about some game giveaways? some money would be nice also, maybe around $10 or something.

Since your forums is about gaming, why not advertising place for gaming clans? Or maybe 'Clan of the month for * game' on the homepage?
