So I see many post sometimes on FP when a users is in a need of a Job they want other users to have good grammar but sometimes we make mistakes in life when we are typing we make a mistake maybe because we are using our phone (Auto correct). But doesn't mean they must ignore someones application also I know not everyone English is their first languages. I got denied 1 once on my application because of my grammar when i was applying for a forum I won't say names but what do you guys think of this rule when applying. I think this should be a less requirement at least when your applying as along as the owner or admin understands what your saying that would be good.

Well, i get where you are coming from but its not like you have an time limit to full out an online form..Just take your time and do a spell check before submiting, when it comes to important matters thats what i do, but other places like here, lol i codunt care less if i spelled shit wrong

Proper grammar and spelling is expected of all our members, particularly staff. However typos will always happen, and tend to be quite distinguishable from poor writing skill.

Its very very important and is usually the first thing I look at while I evaluate an application. Good grammar is a sign of professionalism.

I usually have good grammar with a few slip-ups, but I have a plug-in from Chrome which helps. However, the plug-in has sort of taught me grammar so sometimes I can go it alone with no problems. For instance, let's look at the phrase I just said: "For instance". As you can see, there is a comma after it.

Don't ask me regards to grammar and spelling. I'm not very good for grammar and spelling and most of you already know that.

grammar and spelling is important matter.

The reason why I have been joining forums is to improve my written English because writing communications is part of my job. Forums are great for this purpose because I get to widen my vocabulary and hone my grammar. I don't mind much the spelling because I also make mistakes when using the phone or maybe a missing word. But in its entirety, you can gauge if the poster has it or not. And most important for me is the thought that the post is saying if it has substance. A forum has rules about grammar and how could a staff check on the posts if he is not good in English?

As a forum owner I truly believe it's very important that any staff show they are capable of writing/typing properly. I tend to goof around and use abbreviations from time to time, however I'm quite sure that everyone on my sites know I can be 'serious' if and when the time comes, and I would expect nothing less from any other staff member on my team.

Some forums are informal and the owners would prefer it that way. In other words, grammar isn't pushed. I see no problem with that. However, if people are paying you to have to expect people want good grammar - but then again, some owners might not care. However, they should specify in the rules if they want good grammar or not.

I think good grammar can take fun out, but not always. Also, extra words that have to be "fluffed" can take away fun and sound robotic.

Yea I under where you all are saying but I mean when applying for application you do make mistakes with the format and some grammar that what I was talking about and when you apply the (Owner/Admin) says you did not follow the format or your grammar is bad. Not only is the template I offered in my OP completely broken here (did you remove all the BBCode?) but your grammar skills in your application are far below what I expect from my staff members something like this?
