Day 2 a person with 14k+ subs made a video on the forum, and another site featured it. How good are these for a site that's only been up for about 5 days. I know it's more than I've had in 5 days on any site I've made in the past like 8 years, I just wanted to get everyone else's opinion on the matter.

Wow, those stats are really good. Looks like you've been busy at work. Well done and congrats! you're off to an amazing start. 😀

Most forums would get around 250-500 posts/15-20 threads/15-20 members in 5 days (perhaps even less, but it's just an estimate). I guess it depends though. If you work hard, you'll get good results. 😉

Those are good stats for only being open a short amount of time. 🙂 All the features probably helped which is good.

This is actually quite amazing. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to hear about your forum reaching 5k messages or possibly 10k.

The site seems to be growing really fast!
Give me your secret 🙂

Re: Good statistics for a 5 day old site?

Some sites start slow and others fast. I think it's hard to tell how a forum is doing after just five days. Even if it has thousands of posts at that point, it's hard to say whether that will be maintained.

Re: Good statistics for a 5 day old site?

I'd say you are going really well for a brand new forum. Most forums don't get that many within a couple months of being opened.

Just a little update on the statistics:

You may want to contact the person that featured you in a video along with the website that featured it. This is more than likely the reason why you've had a high amount of traffic and success. I would contact them and get to know them to help with your success with this forum.

Congratulations for getting a nice head start with the post/members. Keep up the great work!

Re: Good statistics for a 5 day old site?

As long as most of those posts aren't gibberish, then that's cool. Too many forum administrators delude themselves into thinking that pushing post count will get the ball rolling. The activity may be there, but where's the substance? What will visitors such as myself get from it? If you have a thread called "Let's count to 100,000,000!!", then there's a good chance that I won't be tempted to sign up.

Don't rely on just the numbers. Focus more on what your members are saying, and expand from it. That's how good forums become successful. With so many forums out there, why the need to compete with them, you know? You started a forum because you wanted to bring fellow friends and strangers together, likely through a common interest or goal.

I'd rather get only ten posts per day that are well-written than a hundred of useless posts that don't add anything of value. The quality of the posts say a lot about your forum.

Forum games such as the 100,000,000 posts do not count towards our forum posts 🙂 All of our content is helpful, valid, and required content for the most part. Of course, you can't stop a post here and there from getting off topic for a few before the mods get it back on topic, but other than that all the posts are 100% genuine, helpful, and grade A posts. A lot of the posts are Q&A's that people need help for, for the program, others are about resources and addons for the program, etc.

I had no intentions or expectations of the forum to get big to be honest. It just sort of happened, and I now have a super active forum out of no where because the stars aligned, and people caught onto the site some how lol.
