Affiliate marketing can make you some money if you have a large e-mail and social networking lists of friends and family who buy lots of things like electronics, appliances online since you already gained their trusts otherwise they wouldn't have given you your e-mail or decided to be your friend or "close" family member, so convincing them to read your affiliate product reviews for stuff like "printers and discount printer ink" might lead to a few sales from people you know visiting your site. I made $7 in one day on Amazon Associates because someone use my affiliate links to buy two 90 dollar flash drives.

Selling your own products may also work since some friends and family might feel more comfortable buying stuff off of you since they can just go to your house to pick up the items if the items are ay your house instead of dealing with the postal mail service which can be so slow and reliable in some places.

Selling web hosting also works since my hosting for one of my sites is owned by an online friend who has a reseller web host.

Adsense, and other paid to click/impression networks earn very little money if you don't have "a lot" of targetted traffic in my experience.

You're welcome!

I found a blog post which said http://Clickbank.com and http://CJ.com affiliate products can also make you some money if the products you are trying to sell are very related to your forum/website main topic like "Computer repair for Newbies"

Refferral based programs like http://RevResponse.com can also make you $1 per successful free program download from a visitor/reader.

Read the full blog post here: http://emoneymakingonline.com/2010/07/2 ... fic-blogs/

I think with both methods you need to really know how to pitch the product to convince the reader the product will help/improve their life for the better like how a PC, Xbox 360, Wii, or PS3 can make a their life better by giving him/her many hours of entertainment, and keeping them out of trouble since they spend more time playing video games at home instead of being part of a gang.

The good thing about Affiliate Marketing is it also can help you add content to a forum since you need to usually write a review on why a certain product is good to buy and why you should buy it from Clickbank.com vs a regular bookstore.

Freemium members. The site is free, but you offer premium features

May sound weird but I try to help out forums I like and click on ads on their site, just once every so often to give them a hand.

I buy from Amazon Affiliate ads on forums or blogs if it is something I plan on buying anyways since 4% on an $100 purchase.

Plus, Amazon shipping, and prices on merchandise are better then Best Buy sometimes.

Amazon has way better prices than most places. I want anything I try Amazon first. I never thought about going through someone's affiliate link. If it gets me a discount, I'm going to try it. And help someone out at the same time.
