Hey,

With great regret I have decided to leave ForumPromotion I have been active in this community for over 5 years now but it is for my own personal reasons.

I like to thank you all for the experience you have given to me over the years and everyone who has made ForumPromotion possible as besides Facebook this site has to be my second most active site that i've activlity been a part off.

Thank You All Again and this is by great regret but I do have good reasons something I need to do.

This is the exact reason why i'm living this community forums gone downhill when I first joined.

This is my personal opinion thought I have been a long time member and just been straight out with how I feel how this forums have changed over the years.

It has only been about 1 hour so maybe give it a bit longer for people to reply and see the thread. We will also be working on bringing activity back on FP.

I joined back up because I liked the new direction this community was heading in actually. The activity levels aren't quite there, but it's something we're all working on.

We don't have to ban you mate.

Trying to not criticize or anything, but I noticed that you had only made 144 posts in the last year, which I find a little odd, because I usually had come to expect that someone who was a bit more active on this forum, would usually post that the forum has been going up and down on activity for the past year. Which honestly, not every month of the year will always be active.

Anyways, sad to see you go, and I hope that when you do actually decide to come back and post, that I encourage you to engross yourself a little more into the forum. 🙂

It is sad to see any member go for any reason, but I respect the reasons, even if it sounds a little odd from my perspective.

Hope you come back eventually.

With all due respect, I don't think that comments like these are doing anyone any service. I didn't see a "goodbye Spudster" or a "take care" in there anywhere. In fact, it's possible that he was beginning to question his decision to leave and might have been leaning towards staying until he read your comment. What you said seems more hurtful than helpful to me. Sometimes, it's better not to say anything if you don't have anything helpful to contribute.

Yes, other people do this all the time but this is Spud's first time saying he's leaving. Typically members of a community are nice the first time someone says they are leaving.

However,
if that departed member keeps comimg back and posts multiple "I'm leaving" threads, then, they are fair game for a hard time. They earned it. 😛

Yes, other people do this all the time but this is Spud's first time saying he's leaving. Typically members of a community are nice the first time someone says they are leaving.

However,

I for one have been really bad at stuff like this in the past, but I am trying to change that. Now days if I don't like a look or feel of a community, I leave. Goodbye threads aren't necessary and at times only attract negative attention; although I do understand this is Spudsters first time making such a thread.
