I was using Google AdSense on my forum, and I got about £13 up to now.

But today I went to log on and it did not work so I looked in me e-mail boxs and got this

"Hello,

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our
advertisers in the future, we have decided to disable your account.

Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realise the inconvenience that this may cause you and we thank you in
advance for your understanding and cooperation."

So that mean I lost out on the money so what should I do
And any one here ever had this done to them where they close account after abit and don't even pay the money.

No, they shut down your account for one or more of the following reasons:
  • You clicked your own ad's
  • You asked people to click your ads
  • Your ads were clicked maliciously by a competitor
  • You paid an ad clicking service to click your ads

They aren't fake. If you observe the rules they don't shut you down 🙂

Like the above post says. Also, many people still get paid by adsense. So I dont think its fake.

I've had my account for around 2 years, still running strong. Basically, you or someone you knew violated their terms. And, yes I've seen plenty of people get the same type of message, and most of them admitted to clicking their own Ads. Now you'll know not to try to cheat the system.

Your are one of many thousands banned for the same reason daily.

Next time you sign up for an Ad company, probably best to ask them in advance if your site is suitable, and document the evidence. That way if you're kicked off again you'll have grounds to appeal.

i prefer promotion forums than google adsense
What? Google ad's and promotion forums are very different.. 😛

No one was scammed here, you violated their TOS, that's all.

I completely agree with Irviding... You must have violated the terms of service.

fake? no, the checks they send me are pretty real and always clear...

assuming you put ads on the site in your signature - http://www.yourhelpinlife.com/ - then to start with you have no obvious privacy policy, let alone one which details interested based advertising

Good post Irividing!

I wouldent make a thread like this, Google is a huge coperate company, don't you think that by now someone would have caught on if they were fake? Thats why they have a printable version Of Terms Of Service on almost every site you go to that will pay you.

You merely did not follow the code of conduct that adsense told you to do, remember they are paying you, dont try and scam Google 😉

You also can get banned if your website have offensive content like racists rants, etc or sexual content.

It is best to read the Terms of service before joining any service that pays you money.

That message most likely means CLICK FRAUD, which is against the Adsense TOS. And if you read the Terms and Agreements, you'd know that any account suspended the funds accumulated are distributed back among the advertisers.

😉.

Well, that guy just got a lucky judge who agreed with him, that's all.

The fact is google has the right to ban you for whatever reason. You're using their service. You obviously click frauded, and got shut down. That's all.

@Irviding
I think Nathan was just proving that it's not stupid to take on a major company because there's always that chance that you're right. In this case it wouldn't hold true, but in a case where Google was in the wrong 😉
