1,380 Impressions and 2 clicks, I've made around 20cents
I feel as though I'm getting ripped of because frankly, I had that before I hit 1000 impressions. I was told that I'd earn something for very 1000 impressions. I think it's only counting clicks.
I was told that you get payed by impression unless someone bids to put per click ads on your website...
What ad services do you use because I don't think google is working out for me, honestly.
You have to keep in mind that large websites can get that in a few minutes. So if they paid big bucks for such low numbers like you have, they would go broke very quickly.
Personally I wouldnt use google. Dont be suprized if one day they cancel your account and never send you your payment because they have labled you a "Risk to the Advertisers" (for no justified reasons I might ad). This seems to be standard practice for them. They have had several lawsuits against them.
I never clicked any of my own ads but you can basically get banned by anyone just clicking and clicking on your ads to get you banned, it seems like. But, they ban you for something you can't control.
Well, I heard that Yahoo has a beta going to be coming out soon for their PTC advertisements that they will be doing pretty soon. I signed up for it. Not sure when they will release it.
There are plenty out there that do this kind of thing like google, just have to find one that is good paying. 🙂
About the TOS, if you have vbulletin, theres a plugin you can install. Otherwise I do not know how you have to have it. I know that you gotta have it posted at least one time somewhere.

They pay less than google, but Ive accumuated that in about a week. So if the trend of $4 or $5 a week continues, I wont have to pay to renew my hosting account in a few months when its due.

Adsense are the best in terms of ad quality and payment.
Adbrite are really bad - their ads are low quality, usually to do with dating and sex, and they pay out next to nothing. I haven't tried Yahoo because they're only open in the US at the moment.
Some ads will pay per 1000 views, but it's not that much, perhaps $0.10 at most.
However 2 clicks from 1,000 views is pretty low, I get around 1 click for every 100 or so you should try to improve your placement and colours. Ask for a review on DigitalPoint
Ive never seen any sex ads.. They arent allowed to put those types of ads up anyways.
They could pay a little better.. But we'll see how things go.
I didnt know yahoo had an ad network. I might check them out after I get my 1st check from ad brite. 😀
Google is too quick to ban people and not allow them to come back. 😡
