Have any of had any success promoting your forum thru Google Adwords? How many of those views/clicks turned into actual members?


I was thinking about trying Adwords out for my forum.

I've tried Adwords a bit before. I think it's better to buy more targeted ads with BSA for a forum, so you can be certain that those you advertise to will know how to use forums.

Adwords can be expensive so i would suggest you to test with bsa.
You can also contact niche bloggers for direct ad spots.

I've never used Adwords for forums, but I have advertised online stores, and it turned out a lot better than I expected! I had a nice uptick in sales for a few days, but the best part was that my ranking seemed to improve after a campaign or two. Really weird. 😛

I haven't used Google adwords yet. But I have a heard its a great tool.

Google Adword will be an expensive option to promote forum. There are other plenty of low cost methods to promote forums. Try PPC or CPM traffic.

If you have enough money, then for sure Adwords is best.

I think google adword for forum is wasting money you know. The meaning of forum is useful information. You can create useful information and then visitors will come

Never used adwords and never will especially for a forum. Very rarely does a person click on a google ad on the sidebar personally

I've used Google Adwords in the past. Both for business sites and forums. It can get VERY expensive. Short answer: Unless you want to spend hundreds per month with Adwords, find a alternative.

I think I used some free credits once. Didn't really do much, probably wasn't enough money involved to have any kind of impact.

I have used Google Adwords before, it generally has helped for me when I needed an extra boost of potential new users on a forum or website I wanted traffic on.
