Do you use Google AdWords to promote your site? Is it worth the money? What do you think is a good monthly budget for spending on advertisements with them?

I think I personally only used them once and it brought in a lot of traffic that converted to revenue, but I was spending more than I was making so I stopped using them.

I did and never gone back to it as it wasn't in my budget to able to keep it going

Same. I mean I would still use it if I knew I would get something out of it.

You don't even earn from them, so much traffic and whatnot but seems hardly fair. We'll google and like others they make there millions

Few days back i signed up for Adwords and have added 500 INR in the account just to test it. Let me see how the trial run goes. I believe it is similar to the Facebook campaign if so i like to try more.

I think a bad mistake would be not leading them to an email list. I mean, at the moment, I am leading people to a Facebook Group and Page - that's similar to an email list. Anyhow, not leading to a list (of some sort), means you don't have them. They're unlikely to come back - and hence not as much traffic - and certainly, not as many sales.

So, yeah, AdWords, robs you blind - but only if you're not bringing targeted traffic to a list - generally speaking.

I've used Google Adwords in the past and I wasn't overly impressed with the results, mainly because I didn't have a large enough budget to really draw much for results. However, whenever I choose to run any paid advertising it's usually on Facebook. It's always best to have an active group in place before purchasing ads, as many will see a dead group and leave before giving your website/promotion much of a chance.

I do not have any expertience with Google Adwords. However, I have always wanted to try Adwords. I hear that Adword campaigns are best for the site that sell products and services. I do not have such sites. My sites are primarily content sites.

That's my biggest problem with my Patreon page at the moment - but my FB stuff has grown quite a bit.
