I have never used it but i didn't think they are good. Lots of sites encourage people to click ads whether they have an interest or not in the site.

I Have Used Them, I Didnt Get Hardly Any Clicks From Them! Not Worth It In My Oppinion.

I've never done it so I don't know. I use Adsense which is the part where you publish the code to show ads on your site.

Ads make your site ugly, I would think they would make actual money on major sites like yahoo.com or ebay or something like that.
