Wondering if anyone else is getting this?
Go to google and it adds gws_rd=cr to url.

gws_rd = Google Web Server Redirect
cr = Country

Means you've visited another country's Google. For example, I live in England. If I go to America's Google (www.google.com), that query string will be appended to my URL. If I go to my own (www.google.co.uk), nothing gets added. 🙂

I'm in America and nothing is added when I go to your Google. It just stays as the .co.uk domain.

It's fairly new and as you probably know, Google doesn't release new stuffs to everybody at once. 😛

I see it too, I guess if you're from a non us country and try to goto google.com, this is being added!

Odd, I have tried from a VPN in a different country and am not getting it in my browser. What browser are you using? Maybe its browser based?

I wonder what the overall purpose of it is. I am guessing internal tracking on Google's end.
