Now that it's been a bit since the update, have any of you found that you were affected by it? In a good or bad way?

As we noted earlier this year, today’s the day we begin globally rolling out our mobile-friendly update. We’re boosting the ranking of mobile-friendly pages on mobile search results. Now searchers can more easily find high-quality and relevant results where text is readable without tapping or zooming, tap targets are spaced appropriately, and the page avoids unplayable content or horizontal scrolling.

This was already made aware of throughout most of the internet, so I would hope people hopped on the band-wagon and updated. With today's users and the way the internet is becoming, I think it's best that they do this. I honestly have not been affected since my forum is private and doesn't rely on SEO at all, however I would assume people who have not hopped on the wagon are rushing to see their newly lowered page rank. 😛
