Google - New Interface

Today, Google launched their new interface. A brighter logo + Buttons and a new search engine page on searches to look more like 'bing' (that's me talking there)

I personally like the sidebar, you can choose "Discussions" and it shows forum posts, so I can search phpbb with being on phpbb

I liked the old search thing better. But the logo is better.

I am not a big fan of it but i will get used to it. It is just different. There is nothing really bad about it.

Am I missing something here? I see the logo change but I guess the other parts aren't as obvious to me?

I prefer it, the logo and design looks a lot clearer to use and all. I think Bing's design is better though, but I think in general Google is so much more better than Bing, as Microsoft has always failed with trying to be better than every other company.

Google has always been fairly simple and YouTube is still a piece of work in progress. You can probably bet we will see much more change throughout this year.

People never like change at first, it always takes time to get used to unless you instantly like it 😛

I had this months ago. People who complain about it will get over it, it's like anything.

I don't see much wrong with it. The logo is nicer, as is the Gooooooooooooooooooogle at the bottom. Side bar will take getting used to though.
