Hi,

I just checked the pagerank of Bituserand found that it was PR4. Is this any good to me? I heard that Google Pagerank is no longer going to happen, is this true? Would someone be willing to pay for advertising because of the PR?

Thanks

People would be interested to get backlinks from you because of your PR. But it won't help with advertisement sales.
Traffic is the Key for advertising.

How new is your website. If it is very new then the page rank will show higher PR. When it settles in it will probably drop.

Only seo guy purchase link will look on the PR, for the advertiser, they are prefer on the traffic.

These rumors about that PR algorithm or whatever has changed is a RUMOR, it is not true... PR is still the same.

Yeah I hit a PR2 as well on two of my sites now, ones only a month old, so PR4 is good...usually takes 12+ months for me to get that at least.

Nope. Pr has changed, It is worthless compared to a few months back when it was being widley used.

It means nothing at all, focus on getting your site jam packed with content and gaining traffic rather than being fixated on a useless number that has no benefit at all.

I would have to disagree with that....though it is easier to get bigger money for high traffic (provable) sites a lot of the backlink companies are still using PR in order to sell their back linking services and do pay for links based on PR, I know as I just sold a few not long ago for one of my sites, it was all because the site was PR2 in gaming.

So while PR really has little actual weight as to the way you list in the search engine, and it doesn't mean much to actual advertisers as they are looking for the amount of users that they actually will be in front of...PR does still have worth to a few that may be willing to pay a couple of dollars because of it
