hello there children

i have a question about google play store

using an andriod Phone, kinda old but has touchscreen etc
didnt have google play store back then when i got that Phone
it was something else, called market or something
to download apps

thing is.... i want and need google play store on my Phone
cause i want apps i cant get through that old andriod market thingy

so is there a possiblity i can download the ''google play store app'' itself
to get it on my Phone somehow?

I think this might be the answer for you. I did a little research for you and this is what i found:

"My phone has an app called Market, not Google Play"

"Android Market is now part of Google Play; however, if your phone is running below Android OS version 2.2 (Froyo), your device will not receive the update to Google Play and will remain on Android Market."

"If your Android phone or tablet is not supported for use with Google Play, or if after rebooting you still don't see the Google Play Store app, contact the carrier or manufacturer of your device. At this time, we do not offer a copy of the Google Play Store app for download."

I think you need to download a ROM like http://www.cyanogenmod.org/ , Root your phone, and flash your phone with the ROM you downloaded to get Google Play, or wait for your phone maker to release an update for your phone, so it has access to Google Play.

I recommend the Amazon Android App store http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b?ie= ... a7eddd0-20

and http://www.1mobile.com/ App store for downloading Apps if you can't get Google Play on your phone.
